if you take the CAT to %26quot;Wien Mitte / Landstrasse%26quot;, you will find the Hotel Hilton right there.

At %26quot;Landstrasse / Wien Mitte%26quot; you could get the underground lines U3 and U4, which will bring you into the city centre within 5 minutes.

Take the underground U3 for 2 stops ( in direction %26quot;Ottakring%26quot; ) and you are in the middle of the city centre %26quot;Stephansplatz%26quot;, where you will find a lot of hotels and pensions ( for example: Pension Pertschy, Pension Aviano, Hotel Wandl, Hotel Royal, Hotel am Stephansplatz, Hotel am Graben, etc. ).

Take the underground U4 for 1 stop only ( direction %26quot;Heiligenstadt%26quot; and you are right at %26quot;Schwedenplatz%26quot; ( also in the city centre, app. 5 minutes walking distance from %26quot;Stephansplatz%26quot;, down by the Danube canal ). Here you will also find the so called %26quot;Bermuda triangle%26quot;. This is the part of the city where people like to go out ( lots of bars and restaurantes here in this area ).

you have 2 possiblities to go to Bratislava

with the bus www.eurolines.at or via train

I always take the bus, since it brings you from the U3 Station Erdberg directly to Bratislava city center /Novy Most for EUR 7,80 return price. At Novy Most, you walk only 5-7 Minutes to the large Hotels eg, Radisson SAS at the city center.

Some travel agencies in Vienna offers day trips to Bratislava, but I am not sure if they have something for 2 days.
