birthday special surprise

I want to bring my best friend to Vienna for her 40th. I want us to stay in a classy, old-style hotel, get very dressed up, have a great dinner and go to a ball. Any suggestions?

The Ball season does not really begin until New Years.

After that , you have a quality Ball several

times per week.

When is your friends Big Event?

For hotels- if price is not a consideration-

The Sacher, Imperial or Bristol ( to me in that order) are perfect.

If no Ball-

Perhaps a night at the Opera, then back across the street( yes, The Sacher is just behind the State Opera and newly renovated - Bristol also across the Street and Imperial a 5 minute walk)

for a late Supper.

Do a tour of the Opera House before your evening to get a %26quot; Backstage look and idea of the House.
