Will there be snow in St Anton in March?

Thinking of going to St Anton in March and I am nervous about the amount of snow. I usually go snowboarding in February - which is obviously high season with loads of snow. I was considering Ishgl but friends have already booked for St Anton. Any advice? Thanks.

In a usual winter St. Anton will have sufficient snow in march.

Last winter had much snow in the Alps and good snow in higher towns to April.

March, with good snow can be great with warmer temperatures making skiing very comfortable.

Vertical is right. I%26#39;ve had great conditions there over the past few years, usually the first week of march. A few years back I was there the second week of April, and there were still plenty of runs to chose from.

Don%26#39;t fret! There are enough runs with midway stations on the lifts. So, if the snow is poor in the valley, skiing is likely still Ok in the higher altitudes.

Thanks everyone. I%26#39;d just hate to go all the way for mush! Feeling more relaxed now...

The lifts don%26#39;t close until 1 May and I have seen it snow in late April in St Anton - a number of times. So don%26#39;t worry about there being snow in March. Even if the runs to the village are patchy you can ski at the top. You%26#39;ll have a brilliant time there and it%26#39;ll spoil you for any other resort.
