There will be a small group of us staying in Vienna over the Christmas period. We%26#39;ve been trying to find a restaurant or hotel that serves a Christmas lunch but have had no luck. Can anyone recommend or suggest a place to go to?

what you might want to try is to contact the Vienna Tourist Board. they might already have a list with at least some places which will serve lunch. I%26#39;m pretty sure they could give you some accurate information.

well, Vienna will be pretty quiet during Christmas (be aware : their holiday start on the 24th of Dec. in the afternoon already and it%26#39;s kept in the family !).
I know a restaurant which is open 365 days a year : %26quot;Livingstone%26quot; in the Zelinkagasse (1st district), it%26#39;s quite nice with decent food %26amp; good (but very expensive) wine. Their bar is the nicest one in the town called %26quot;Planter%26#39;s%26quot; (www.livingstone.at). have fun !
