I am arriving in Vienna on a sunday 6.00 am. Someone please tell me the best way to get to Julius-Tandler-Platz4 1090 Wien where my hotel is....Assuming that public transport is available at that hour ? Thank you very much..

Public transport is available from the airport at that time. Depending on type, they begin about 5 AM.
You have several alternatives.
1. Take airport bus to Sudbahnhof - cost 6 euros Then transfer to Streetcar D that will take you to Julius Tandler Platz ( Franz Josef Bahnhof). cost 1.50 euros.
Time : bus airport to Sudbahnhof - 25-30 minutes
Streetcar 20-25 minutes
Thus transfer takes about one hour versus a taxi time of 35-40 minutes.
The airport bus runs about every 1/2 hour and is found just outside the Arrivals Hall.
Note that several other locations are served by other airport bus lines - check to be certain you get correct one.
Ticket for bus can be purchased from bus driver.
The streetcar ticket can be purchased from an automatic machine in the Bahnhof.
The Streetcar D stop is just across the street from the Sudbahnhof entrance.
I assume you stay at either the hotel Mozart or Hotel Bellevue. Both are within 200 metres of the %26quot;D%26quot; stop in front of Bahnhof ( train station).
While you can also reach this area using other public lines like subway U-4, this is probably the easiest and most direct.
2. You can take regular taxis found outside the Arrivals Hall- price about 30-40 euros
3. Several private transfer services also provide door to door service with a reservation cost 25 +- euros
4. Some like to take the %26quot; CAT %26quot; to the city train 9 euros Then transfer to public transport - This involves more walking and with luggage can be a problem

The probably cheapest way is to take S-Bahn (fast commuter train) Line S7 from VIE-Airport to Wien Mitte. There you change to U4 (Underground), direction Heiligenstadt. You get off at Friedensbrücke and walk approx. 5 mins. It all takes about 45 mins.
At the airport, after baggage claim and customs, you will see an %26quot;S%26quot; or %26quot;ÖBB%26quot;-sign and an elevator. Take this elevator and you%26#39;ll find yourself on the platform of the train. It runs every 30 mins, ticket is € 3,-
