Best way to get to St Anton

Ok. now I need to know how to get there. I%26#39;ll be flying from Dublin. I could probably fly to Munich and maybe Innsbruk. And then take the train? Any suggestions on the easiest/cheapest route?

St. Anton is a major station on the Arlberg rail route (from Switzerland to Innsbruck). The best way would be to land in Innsbruck I guess, but it would be probably more exensive. Munich is definitely a possibility but quite out of the way. After Innsbruck, the best airports to fly into would be Zürich and Salzburg. From both Zürich and Salzburg direct trains run to St. Anton, plus a lot more of train connections with change somewhere on the route. For more on train schedule see www.oebb.at

There are also some bus shuttles from Zürich airport to St. Anton but from what I%26#39;ve seen they run from 80 Euro per person.

As of December Aer Lingus will be flying direct from Dublin to Salzburg on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. They also fly to Zurich on the same days. Great fares to be found booking on line. Swiss (the old Swissair) have a daily flight from Dublin to Zurich. Aer Lingus also have a daily flight to Munich plus a second daily flight on certain days. Enjoy the Austrian Alps. And don%26#39;t miss out a visit to Salzburg... the most beautiful city I know.
