sister, parents coming - help!

I live in Wurzburg, but am from the U.S. My parents and sister are coming to visit. My sister and Dad would like to go skiing in Austria for 4-5 days (as long as my Mother can stand it). I am looking at Ischgl and the St. Anton valley area. Can anyone make any recommendations on specific places to look for lodging. It%26#39;ll be me and my wife, my 30 year old sister, and my parents. I%26#39;m hoping there%26#39;s shopping for my Mother - who speaks German, and some sweet powder for myself! Thanks alot for any help.

Being a Wuerzburger myself ( I was born there),and being married to a %26quot;shopper%26quot;, I would suggest Zell am See, Kitzbuehel or Innsbruck, probably in that order, thinking also of you skiers. The order itself is in the amount of shopping opportinities, from good to excellent (Innbruck)

Zell am See is a delighful town, with shopping opportunities. The nearby skiing is the Schmittenhoehe, with the primary lift right in town. If the snow is %26quot;iffy%26quot;, then you can ski on the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier, near Kaprun. Also nearby is the whole Saalbach-Hinterklemm valley, with many lifts and pistes.

Kitzbuehel,I think, is sufficiently well known so that I don%26#39;t have to spend too much time on it. There are always lots of non-skiers there. Tell you mother to bring her fur coat along; it;s de rigeur in K., in other words ity%26#39;s an upscale place

Innsbruck is a city, with lots of shopping, but also some good skiing nearby: Patscherkoferl, Stubai Valley and Seefeld.

Can%26#39;t be of much help on places to stay, since the rest of my family is close enough to Zell and Kitzbuehel so that I ski those places on day trips. I know the top place in Zell is the Grand Hotel.
