Sky in Salzburg

We are a group of Spanish Snowboarders and we want to visit Austrian Alps. We��ll fly to Salzburg Airport and we need any advice of the nearest Sky Resort(with Snow park if possible) and cheap hotel or apartment there. Saludos!!!

You might consider flying to Innsbruck, Münich or Zürich. Salzburg is not really a starting point for skiers. In Germany you could go to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. There are to many ski resorts in Austria to list them all but you can find a good overview at: http://skisnowboardeurope.com/resorts.html

I could not find terrain parks in some of the Innsbruck resorts (and Zell am See).

Axamer had a small park.

In Austria I found there were not many boarders, mostly skiers, who stayed mainly on the groomed runs.

There was plenty of untracked freshies, just off the groomed runs, after snow falls.
