The Intercont is the typical chain hotel of that category. Soon needs renovation however.

It is near subway for easy connections. Ice Skating Rink just behind it . About 10 minute walk to City Center.

The hotel can be reached by public transport relatively easily unless you have much luggage.

You can take the Cat Train from the Airport to the City Station - Landmitte ( only stop)

cost 9 euros

A short walk from train to subway - up and down steps or moving stairway- also a n elevator but you must search a little for it.

Then take the subway U-4 one stop to Stadtpark. The Intercont is across the street from the subway station. ( cost 1.50 euros)

Or take the regular train ( you will see signs for all in the Arrivals Hall) Just a little slower than CAT Train.-to Landmitte - then follow above for U-bahn connection to Hotel.

cost 3 euros.

I stayed at the Hilton which is 2-3 blocks from the Inter-Continental. The Hilton is across the street from where the airport train arrives...it would be a 7 minute walk (tops) from their to the ICON.
