Kaprun at New Year

Hi

Could anyone tell me if there will be plenty of snow in the village of Kaprun during the New Year? I know there is snow for skiing higher up, just wondering if the town itself will be bathed in snow for the non-skiiers amongst us?

Also, does anyone know if there is anything special going on for the New Year celebration?

Kaprun might or might not be bathed in snow during New Year...70% chance? global warming, you know ;-)
