Klimt in Vienna

Hello,

I%26#39;ve read that Klimt is displayed at the Museum of Applied Arts and at Belvedere Palace. (Are they at the Upper or Lower Belvedere?)

Does anyone have any feedback about these exhibits?

Do you know any other Klimt-related sites around the city?

Thank you

Hello..

I can´t confirm there is a Klimt exhibition at Belvedere Palace (Upper) taking place in these days.

There was a really big exhibition in 2003 with masterpieces from Europe and USA.

Anyway check www.belvedere.at for details. I hope I´m wrong. :-(

A must see is %26quot;The Beethoven Frieze%26quot; in the %26quot;Secession%26quot; www.secession.at

The Upper Belvedere has a permanent exhibit of many Klimt works.

The Leopold Museum in the Museum Quarter also has klimt along with many others of that period.

As mentioned above the Klimt frieze is in the basement( its original place of exhibition) Many have asked to have it moved , but they say tradition keeps it there.

Thank you both for your time!
