My 15 year old son wants to learn to ski and we are planning to go over Christmas.However my husband and I are concerned that there will be nothing for us as non skiers in a ski resort.Can anyone help or suggest any resorts which may satisfy all of us

Seefeld is about 20 minutes by rail from Innsbruck. It has a large village with many shops and hotels. The other ski areas may be more isolated.

Stay in Innsbruck. Skiing is a short bus or Tram ride away. Patscherkofel ski area is SE of Innsbruck in Igls on Tram J and is a good area for beginners. http://www.patscherkofel.com/
