Snow

Just reassure me, please: snow is pretty - but I HATE having to walk around on it. In the UK we get so little snow and ice that there isn%26#39;t any real clearance of it and while it%26#39;s here, pavements are treacherous.

I was in Vienna in February, during what seemed like the end of the snow season, and the clearance had been fantastic! I%26#39;m going again on Wednesday, seemingly at the beginning of the new snow season!

The snow will be shifted and the pavements gritted just as well, won%26#39;t they? Please?

Please be reassured- the same crews that did such a good job of clearing the snow for you last year are still here.

No real snow in Vienna yet- light snow has fallen- but it quickly is gone.

The mountain areas have had good amounts of snow and some ski resorts already have opened.

But do not worry- things will be clear for you in Vienna- the Christmas Markets are open- the city decorated- The music playing-
