tour company

Any suggestions on what would be a reasonably priced and reliable tour company in Vienna that I could use for some tours, or is it better to do the sightseeing on your own by foot? Also which tours would you suggest? Would it be worthwhile to take a day trip to Prague and another one to Budapest? Thanks

You can easily sightsee on your own. The city is very easy to travel on foot or by public transport. A good guide book and city map is all that you need.

Many sights are relatively close together making it more enjoyable and easy for independent tourists.

Look on this site for the major attractions and decide what you want to see.

Touring on your own allows you to be flexible and spend as much or as little time that you want in places.

Save your money that you might pay for a tour and attend a concert or buy more presents.

I would suggest Budapest as a day trip- 2- 2 1/2 hours by train.

Prague is nice but a 5-6 hour train ride one way- no chance to see much in one day.
