Taxi from Innsbruck to Seefeld

Does anyone know how much a taxi would cost from Innsbruck to Seefeld

|||

Hi! This won%26#39;t be cheap! Go to www.taxi-innsbruck.com/kontakt.html and send them an e-mail... they will give you a price.

A much cheaper possibilty is to go by train!

go to: http://fahrplan.oebb.at/bin/query.exe/en

From: Innsbruck

To: Seefeld in Tirol

RobbieAustria. Thanks for that. I seem to be having trouble finding accommodation for 4 nights in February for a short sking holiday. Any ideas?

I%26#39;ve only been to Seefeld for one day, but there are many 5-star hotels... it%26#39;s a very elegant village and very beautiful.

Go to www.seefeld.at or www.tiscover.at/seefeld (English button on top). It should not be a problem to get a room.

The rail ticket will cost Euro 5.80 2nd class 10.50 first class.

The journey takes 45 minutes and is quite scenic as it climbs away from Innsbruck along a slope above the Inn Valley, sit on the left hand side for the views.

Single ticket is € 4,10 (from rail station) or 4,80 from all tram/bus-stops in Innsbruck. Children up to 6 are free, 6-15 they pay the half, 15-20 just some cents more than half price. Tickets can be bought from every bus or tram-driver and of course at the station and ticket machines.

The fare that %26quot;mostlybytrain%26quot; told you is the fare of railways, but Tyrol has a %26quot;Verkehrsverbund%26quot; (association of all means of public transport in Tyrol), so tickets are cheaper. You will, of course, be given the cheaper ticket! 1st class is not really available on trains between Innsbruck and Seefeld in Tirol. The rail station in Seefeld is just some minutes walk from the centre... if you stay in a hotel, they will help you with your luggage, just inform them.

Thanks for information

In feb this year a taxi from the airport to Seefeld was approx 40 euros %26amp; 30 euros from Seefeld to innsbruck about 15 minutes drive

Hi Carol

I will be going back to Seefeld next Feb for my 6th year........I know, I need to get out more!

Your best bet, by far, is to get on a train from Innsbruck station direct to Seefeld. It is one of the most spectacular trips and a lot cheaper if you do it on your own than the Tour Rep will charge you or to go by taxi.

I%26#39;ll be honest and admit you%26#39;ll be better off getting a taxi from the airport to the station but you wont regret it.

Enjoy Seefeld....It is wonderful

Claire
