We are trying to get away for a few days of snowboarding between Christmas and New years. We are spending Christmas in Germany and will be driving down to Tirol, so places close to the German border are ideal. Can anyone suggest high resorts that will definitely have snow that time of year?

Hi guys
We live in germany, just on the border with austria at Bregenz, so from there you can drive down the Arlberg Schnellstrasse (E60/S16) and you will pass St. Anton/Lech, then Ischgl and then Soeldon/Oburgurgl. Take your pick as snow is building nicely %26amp; should be plenty during your dates. They are all high resorts and all accessible from the motorway. Try to avoid saturday travelling as it gets very congested at the borders and long queues at tunnels, etc!! Ischgl is fab and a little knowlegde of german will help. Excellent Apres ski, also Soeldon very lively, as is St. Anton. Hope this helps........have fun guys.
