Hi. Anyone have any ideas for nice day trips from Vienna? Perhaps something that involves the nature/outdoors but is not too strenueous? Thanks.

you have many possibilities
do a trip to Bratislava, bus takes around 1h and goes at least 4 x a day, return ticket 7,50. the buscompany can be reached here www.eurolines.at..maybe not so much nature but a real nice nice.
you can travel to Carnuntum which is Archeological Park with roman ruins.

make a trip to Wachau

The Wachau would be a lovely day trip. If the weather%26#39;s still good and the riverboats still operating, you can take a train to Melk, visit the abbey, and a boat back down the Danube to Krems, then train back to Wien. I believe the boat operator sells combination tickets covering the whole trip.
