Would like ideas on best transport to use from Airport to Hotel and return please. Also best way - transport or walk to get from Hotel to Ernst Happel Stadium.

You should opt for the S7 commuter train (S-Bahn), which links the airport with the station %26quot;Wien Nord - Praterstern%26quot;. From there you can take the subway or the tram to your final destination, which is very close to %26#39;Wien Nord%26#39;. Current fare would be €3 (2 zone ride á €1.50). If you intend travelling a lot within Vienna by public transport, I recommend to purchase a pass at the airport (same vending machine). The airport is not covered by these Vienna passes, therefore you must acquire an additional ticket costing €1,50 (=1 zone).
You can either walk to stadium, or take tram #21.
