My husband and I will be in Vienna from 23rd to 27th December. Does anyone know when public transport will be running during this period?

the public transport in Vienna is on normal schedule.
If it is a public holiday 25- 26th December then the Sunday Schedule is valid it only means that instead of 3-4 minutes intervall you may have 7-8. You still have your long running hours , mostly till midnight.
Only some buses who want go on Sunday you won´t get eg 12A but that´s hardly a bus you need as a tourist.
