Austria to Venice by car?...

I am going to be driving from Cesky Krumlov to Salzburg and then Salzburg to Venice in a rented car and was hoping to get some advice on a %26quot;scenic route%26quot; or any small towns that would be worth a quick visit along the way.

Thank you for helping me plan my trip!

My suggestion hasn%26#39;t helped. :-( Looks like you are on you own....

Try this mapping website - enter the %26#39;from town%26#39; and %26#39;to town%26#39; and it will give you driving directions from one to the other. You can zoom in or out and see what towns are along the way - you%26#39;ll have to do your own research to determine which ones you should stop and visit. Copy and paste the address to your browser and open it.

I like to use google as a search engine for researching anything and everything. Here%26#39;s their web address if you don%26#39;t use it already. Good luck.

Salzburg - Lofer - Zell am See - Grossglockner/Heiligenblut - Cortina, Venezia. It will be a full day, but great scenery. If you have an extra day, overnight in Cortina.

Thanks so much! I mapped it out, looks like 6 hours with no stops. We will have about 8 hours to make the trip so it should be fine.

Thanks again!
