See posting in %26quot; Vienna Now%26quot; on this site.

Tickets are easy to get just before New Years

prices 25-200 euro depending on type and location.

Hotels tend to have more formal evenings with dinner - business suits and nice %26quot; Cocktail dress%26quot; OK

Book a hotel early as the city is always full at this time of year.

Most evenings will continue until at least 2-3 am

Many will call a taxi for you if needed.

Best to find something near to your hotel.

Music depends on the venue - but generally a mix from waltz to modern.

See the Palais website for menu.

I have been two times to Palais Ferstel for this evening - international group- most dressed formally- excelent food nice surroundings.

Two bands provide non stop music 1 more waltz

second more modern dance music.
