Does anyone have suggestions for a restaurant, not too fancy but nice enough for a group dinner with some children. Near Hotel Stefanie or city centre. Thanks for any advice.

Not too much on Taborstrasse ( the street by Hotel Stefanie)that I can think of.
Perhaps a nice place is the Griechenbeisl- Fleischmarkt 11 --across the Danube Canal and ubhill toward city center.But not far from your hotel.
They also have rooms for small groups- varied menu

Unique -
A fantastic buffet dinner in the Fine Arts Museum every Thursday evening.
Eat a course- stroll through the exhibits return for more food all evening.

Thanks...but we have a few children ages 6-12 with us and I doubt that would interest them. Any other suggestions?

Do not know when you visit but dinner cruise on the Danube at various times of the year.

Excellent idea...unfortunatley they do not have a cruise the night we are there...Feb 10. Thanks for the idea though. I will keep researching.
