I will be attending a conference in Vienna from the 30th until the 2nd of Feb. I will arrive on the Sunday evening so I will not have a chance to explore the city during the day.
Can you give me advise on things do at night .. Is Vienna a night city? .. advise on pubs, restaurants.. things to do would be helpful

You do not mention your interests- but one place for a little of everything is the Museum Quarter-

Note that some of the museums are open in the evening until 7 PM
Monday- Leopold Museum- Kunsthalle
in addition several bars and cafes are in this complex and are open later in the evening too.
Not far from this area is the club %26quot; Passage%26quot; on the Ring a good place.
The Liechtenstein Museum is open Tuesdays until 8 PM.
Naturally the Opera and concert halls have performances nightly.
Many good restaurants and clubs in the First District - those along Annagasse near Kartnerstrasse are liked by many - walk along and have a look. Things do not start there until later in the evening.
Numerous Irish Pubs too!
