How%26#39;s the weather in April? Is it cold and or rainy?

Compared to Sarasota, yes definitely cool and a good chance of rain. Hopefully some sunny spells. Snow will have just melted, early spring, temperatures between 40s and 60s F at the most, probably in the 50s.
April is known to be the month with crazy, very changeable weather.
