overnight prices

Are the prices that are listed at the hotels, bed and breakfas, typically for one person? Also, is the middle to the end of June considered high season or low season? Thanks for the help! g8trzz

This is a hard question to answer to answer as hotels often list prices in different ways.

Some by the room others per person.

However, usually enclosed in the pricing is a explanation of --- P. P. =per person or per room per night.

I believe that you will usually find larger or chain hotels offering prices per room.

Smaller places and almost all Pensions, B%26amp;B will list prices per person.

Most places still list most or all of June as Low Season. Again their price list will show the Low and High season dates.

A double room will be listed as a Doppelzimmer.

A single room as an Einzelzimmer

Other than in the U.S., prices in hotels, and pensions, are typically per person/night: bed%26amp;breakfast (ZF=Zimmer mit Frühstück), half-board (HP=Halbpension), or full-board (VP=Vollpension); only very rarely such prices are indicated %26quot;per room%26quot; in Austria in hotels; however, prices for apartments are typically per unit (mostly only accomadation, without breakfast).

June is not yet high season in the mountains, but probably already high season for city tourism (esp.Vienna). July + esp.Aug. are peak season.
